The current smart phone charging interface has been generally unified by type-c, but the type-c interface contacts will appear surface corrosion with long-term use, affecting the service life!
In order to solve this problem, major mobile phone manufacturers have worked hard. Recently, Huawei announced a patent entitled "A method for preventing corrosion of terminals and Type C interfaces." This technology monitors the state of the device through the motion sensor. When it is determined that the motion state of the terminal changes from the moving state to the static state, the control interface chip configures the CC pin of the first Type-C interface to a low level mode.
In the terminal, the processor is respectively connected with the motion sensor and the interface chip, and the interface chip is respectively connected with the processor and the CC pin in the first Type-C interface.
Through the motion sensor, the motion state of the terminal can be monitored, and then the level of the pin can be adjusted. This technology can prevent the CC pin in the Type-C interface from being in a high level state for a long time, thereby reducing the probability of electrochemical corrosion between the CC pin and other pins, and improving the service life of the Type-C interface.
